Architectural and space-planning solutions

The pool building was designed as a two-story building of the center for social rehabilitation of the disabled and children with disabilities, a rehabilitation center built in the late 70s. XX century. The project documentation provides for measures for the reconstruction of the rehabilitation center in the pool extension area: laying of existing window openings and adapting part of the window openings for door openings. The designed swimming pool building is two-storey, with a basement floor, rectangular in plan, designed for adaptive physical education and swimming. Three areas of the premises are designed in the building: a visitor area (a lobby with a “reception” area, a dressing room, halls, a swimming pool hall, therapeutic and adaptive physical education halls, sanitary and auxiliary premises), an administrative and service area (premises of administration and employees, a duty room nurses), service area (technical, utility rooms, sanitary facilities, storerooms of cleaning equipment). In the basement, technical rooms are designed: a water metering unit, a heating center, service rooms for the pool bowl. The pool is designed on the 1st floor, has 2 bowls: a small bowl (8,4 x 2,95 m) and a large bowl (15,2 x 8,4 m). Inventory rooms, men's and women's locker rooms and showers, an office for a nurse on duty, a room for a trainer on duty, and a water analysis room were designed at the halls. In the men's and women's locker rooms there are places for changing clothes for wheelchair users. The toilet at the locker rooms and the toilet, designed on the 2nd floor, are adapted for use by wheelchair users. Transitions from the designed building to the building of the rehabilitation center are provided through the hall on the first floor and the corridor on the second floor. On the second floor, the project provides for: a staff rest room, administration offices and waiting rooms. Facades, plinth and parapet part of the building are faced with ceramic granite slabs. External walls - with cladding, designed according to the system of "ventilated facades". Roof - rolled, combined. Drain - outdoor organized. Windows - metal-plastic, with double-glazed windows and a micro-ventilation system. Finishing of the premises is provided in accordance with the functional purpose of the premises and in accordance with the "List of materials used for improved finishing of objects of the city order". Materials for improved finishes are adopted in rooms with the presence of visitors. The project provides for measures to ensure the accessibility of the building, premises and services by low-mobility groups of the adult population and disabled children, incl. wheelchair users.

Structural and space-planning solutions

The pool building is of a normal level of responsibility. The structural scheme of the building is a monolithic reinforced concrete frame. External walls - non-bearing from hollow ceramic brick 380 mm thick, grade M75 at CPR M50, γ=1,6 t/m3; enclosing structures of the pool room - solid ceramic brick 380 mm thick grade M75 on CPR M50, γ=1,8 t/m3; in the area adjacent to the existing building, the outer walls are aerated concrete grades D500, B2,5. Walls are fastened to load-bearing structures with reinforcing wire coated with an anti-corrosion compound, in the area adjacent to pools and showers - with stainless wire. Basement walls - monolithic 200 mm thick. Concrete B25, W8, F100. Ceilings - monolithic reinforced concrete beamless, thickness 220 mm. Concrete B25. Columns-monolithic reinforced concrete, section 400 x 400 and 400 x 500 mm. Concrete B25. The main step of the columns is 6,0 x 6,0 m. The coating is a monolithic reinforced concrete ribbed slab 150 mm thick. Main beams - section 400 x 850 mm, secondary beams 400 x 450 mm. The spatial rigidity and stability of the building is ensured by the rigidity of the frames, the rigidity of the supporting nodes of the colony, and the joint work with the hard disks of the floors. The calculation of load-bearing structures was carried out on a computer according to the program SCAD 11.3. Stairs - prefabricated reinforced concrete. The foundations are taken on a natural basis in the form of a monolithic reinforced concrete slab 500 mm thick. Concrete B25,W8, F100. In the area adjacent to the existing building, pile foundations made of indentation piles according to series 1.011.1-10 issue. 1 section 400 x 400 mm, length 10 m. Concrete B25, W8, F100. The design load on the pile is assumed to be 41 tf, the average pressure on the foundation is 6,5 tf/m2. Grillage - tape, from monolithic reinforced concrete, concrete class B25, W8, F100. The connection between piles and grillage is rigid. The main working reinforcement of reinforced concrete structures A400. Under the foundation, concrete preparation is provided with a thickness of 100 mm. The calculation of the foundation was carried out on a computer using the SCAD 11.3 program, taking into account the work of ground structures. At the junction with the existing building, constructive measures and gentle work methods were used to protect the existing building, namely: cantilever junction, sheet piles, driving piles by indentation. A relative elevation of 0,000 corresponds to an absolute elevation +21.400 m. In accordance with the report on engineering and geological surveys, the base of the foundation is light silty brownish-gray ribbon loam, fluid-plastic, R = 18,9 tf/m2. Under the tip of the piles - silty gray sandy loam with gravel, pebbles, boulders, plastic, IL=0,44, E=95 kgf/cm2. Before mass pile driving, the bearing capacity of the piles will be checked by static tests. The maximum level of groundwater is at a depth of 1,0 m. Groundwater is slightly aggressive in terms of the content of aggressive carbon dioxide to concrete of normal permeability. In order to protect the concrete of underground structures, the concrete grade for water resistance is W8, the surface of the concrete in contact with the ground is protected by two layers of isoplast. The expected average settlement of the building is 62 mm. The expected draft of the adjoining building is 2,0 cm. The project documentation provides for measures that reduce the impact on the surrounding buildings: a separating sheet pile was made, the need for organizing monitoring of existing buildings was indicated.
