The project provides for the construction of a transitional type pavement, a base of gravel-sand mixture C6 and a coating of gravel-sand mixture C1 with the addition of 30% crushed stone. The required modulus of elasticity of the structure for transitional type pavement is 100 MPa. In the project, two options for the design of the pavement were considered and proposed to the customer: Option 1: Covering - gravel-sand mixture C1 with the addition of 30% crushed stone I = 0,15 m; Base - gravel-sand mixture C6 according to GOST 25607-2009 1: = 0,20 m; Option 2: Coating - crushed stone-sand mixture C1 according to GOST 25607-2009 1: = 0,15 m; The base is a crushed stone-sand mixture C6 according to GOST 25607-2009 1 = 0,15 m. A technical and economic comparison of pavement design options was carried out, taking into account the construction cost, repair and maintenance costs for the period of operation. Option 1 turned out to be the most economical, agreed with the customer and accepted for design. Cross drainage is provided by the transverse slope of the carriageway and roadsides.
