Architectural and space-planning solutions

The school is a typical school for 920 students, built in 1960 according to the design of the Lenproekt Institute, code 4992/2 (1959). The building is four-story with a technical underground and two outbuildings: a gymnasium and an assembly hall. The building of the general education school, which is subject to a comprehensive overhaul, is located in the depths of the quarter, has a U-shape in plan and is oriented with the main facade to the southwest. The object is a non-residential 1-4 storey building with an unheated attic, technical underground (height 1.6-1.7 m) and basement areas. The volume of the building consists of a 4-storey part, which houses the main educational, technical and technological premises, and two one-story annexes with two-story inserts, one of which houses a gym (with utility rooms on the 1st floor of the insert and with a ventilation chamber on 2 -th floor of the insert), in the other - a dining room (with a food unit on the 1st floor of the insert, utility rooms of the catering unit and a ventilation chamber on the 2nd floor of the insert). The extensions are spaced to different ends of the building, forming the space of the courtyard. The courtyard of the school has a separate service entrance with a fence. The comprehensive overhaul provides for, along with the overhaul of the building, redevelopment and re-equipment of educational and industrial premises. The capacity of the school building after a comprehensive overhaul is 484 students. In the basement areas, storerooms and technical premises were designed: a water metering unit and an ITP room (the location of the water metering unit of the premises and its area were adopted according to the existing layout). A new floor-by-floor functional zoning is provided - on the ground floor, an entrance group of premises, a dining room with utility rooms (in a one-story extension), a gym with utility rooms (in a one-story extension), a conference room, a library, a medical center and a multifunctional room for classes with MGN are designed , sanitary facilities. On the second floor, it is planned to place a block of educational premises of an elementary school, administration and sanitary facilities, on the third and fourth floors - educational premises of the middle and senior level and sanitary facilities. Based on technological requirements and fire safety requirements, it is planned to reconstruct the existing and organize new porches, ramps and pits. It is planned to reorganize the entrance group from the side of the main entrance, due to the need to provide access for the disabled, the unsatisfactory state of the canopy structure and the heterogeneity of the geometric parameters of the steps within the march. The layout of the entrance porch was developed taking into account the organization of access to the building for disabled people and people with limited mobility: a ramp is provided, the overall dimensions of the steps are 0,4x0,12m in accordance with the requirements of SNiP 35-01-2001 for external stairs, and a protective canopy is also designed over the new porch . The project documentation provides for the reconstruction of the porches with additional emergency exits from the corridors of the 1st floor in the axes 1-2/B-C and 16-17/B. Also, at the exit in axes 16-17 / B-V, a ramp is arranged to ensure evacuation standards for the disabled. An additional exit in the axes 4-4/1/E-Zh is being restored from the gymnasium. Also, in order to ensure evacuation from the dining hall premises, an additional exit with a new porch was designed from the side of the courtyard facade in place of the window opening in axes 12/1-13/G-D. These exits are equipped with an insulated door and an anti-panic handle. To meet the technological requirements for the catering unit of the dining room from the side of the courtyard facade (end of the extension), the existing doorway leading to the staircase in the axes 13-15/Zh is laid, and a new doorway is arranged in the axes 15-17/Zh with the re-arrangement of the entrance porch. This entrance is designed to load the dining room. The exits from the stairwells in the axes 6-7/D-B and 13-15/E-Zh are being reconstructed: the project provides for the installation of a fire cut between the flights of stairs and individual doorways to provide direct access to the outside from the basement areas. A pit is arranged in axes 14-16 / A to provide access to the premises of the water metering unit. The blocked window openings in axes 16/A-B on the ground floor are being restored, and the dimensions of the window openings in the sports hall, which were previously partially blocked, are being restored. Due to technological necessity, a window opening is laid in axes 17/E-Zh to the installation depth of the window block. To preserve the arrangement of window openings on the facade, a blank window block is installed in the indicated place, pasted over from the inside with a dark opaque film. To organize air intake in the rooms of ventilation chambers, window blocks at the level of the second floor in axes 1/B-D and 17/B-D are replaced with louvered grilles painted in the color of the facade. The project documentation provides for the dismantling of old and the installation of new partitions. Newly erected partitions: plasterboard partitions on a metal frame filled with mineral-cotton slabs, brick (as building envelopes for basement rooms, wet categorized rooms), aerated concrete (shaft construction for laying ventilation networks). External doors - metal and metal insulated. Internal doors - wooden paneled: deaf and glazed, partially custom-made and in accordance with GOSTs, metal fireproof. Window blocks - metal-plastic with a tilt-and-turn mechanism and with a micro-ventilation function with two-chamber filling. Suspended metal cassette ceilings are provided in sanitary facilities, showers, locker rooms, KUI, in the premises of the catering unit, treatment room, doctor's office, in corridors, recreations, vestibules, wardrobes, educational and administrative premises - suspended ceilings made of Armstrong mineral fiber boards 600x600 mm, in technical rooms - painting ceilings with water-based paints on a plastered surface. Linoleum is used for flooring in the classrooms, lecture halls, library, doctor's office, staff rooms for project documentation. In the lobby, cloakrooms, corridors, recreation areas, the dining room of the canteen, in the premises of the catering unit, ventilation chambers, pantries, archives, book storage, locker rooms and treatment rooms, porcelain stoneware flooring was designed. In sanitary facilities, showers and KUI - from ceramic tiles. Specialized sports flooring is provided in the gym and sports hall. Laminate flooring has been designed in the administration premises. The walls of the showers, sanitary facilities, locker rooms, KUI, treatment room, catering room and wardrobe of the canteen staff are to be covered with ceramic tiles to a height of 2,1 m. The surface of the walls of classrooms - painting with water-based paints on a plastered surface. To improve the energy efficiency of the building, the project provides for the insulation of existing brick exterior walls by installing a hinged system of ventilated facades with surface cladding with porcelain stoneware. Insulation for external walls - mineral plate type "Rockwool". All fastening elements of the ventilated facade system are made of galvanized steel profile elements. It is planned to restore the waterproofing of the foundation and insulate the basement with extruded polystyrene, which is then plastered with a cement-sand mortar along the grid and lined with porcelain stoneware. In the 4-storey part of the building, the roof is made of galvanized steel roofing sheets.
