General information.

The building consists of three dedicated volumes: the main four-story school building and the one-story canteen building, connected through a one-story warm passage. The site where the building is located is calm and planned, without significant differences in elevation levels, with a slight slope from west to east. The conventional mark 0.000 is taken to be the floor mark in the main entrance foyer. The school building has a rectangular configuration in plan with dimensions in the conventional axes “1-8” “A-B” - 51,5 × 11,56 m. There are basements under the entire building. The dining room building has a rectangular configuration in plan with dimensions in conventional axes “1-4” “A-B” – 23,41×14,03 m. The passage is located between the school building and the canteen building. The building is equipped with two central entrances located on the side of the main and courtyard facades, and two exits to the courtyard area located on the side of the courtyard facade, accessible directly from the staircases to the adjacent territory. The porches of the central entrances are made with platforms and steps and are equipped with canopies. There are no canopies over the other porches. The porch of the main entrance without a ramp. The area adjacent to the building from the side of the courtyard facade is landscaped with a site with flower beds and lawns, as well as elements of small architectural forms. There is a concrete pavement along the perimeter of the building and there is a driveway around the building with an asphalt concrete surface. From the courtyard façade of the building, the platform is adjacent to the walls of the building, combining the functions of a blind area. From the landing of the third floor there is a hatch (Photo 17) to the attic, located in the attic floor. Structurally, the buildings are made with load-bearing walls made of solid ceramic bricks. The covering and ceilings of the main building and the transition are made of prefabricated reinforced concrete hollow core slabs, supported by longitudinal walls. The roof of the main building is a hip attic on layered wooden rafters with a roof made of profiled sheets on lathing. The roof over the passage is a combined low-slope roll roof on covering slabs with free discharge of water in both directions along the slope. The roof over the dining room is gable with gables. The roof is made of corrugated asbestos-cement sheets along the sheathing and rafters, which are supported by metal-wood trusses. External unorganized drainage from roofs by gravity along roof slopes to underlying roofs or directly to the adjacent area (blind area). The blind area around the building is concrete, up to 800 mm wide. According to the space-planning solution, the building is divided into rooms by installing partitions. Finishing of internal surfaces of walls and partitions made depending on the purpose of the room with oil and water-based paints and whitewash, followed by wallpapering, cladding with glazed tiles or without cladding. The ceilings in the main building are finished with whitewash or Armstrong-type suspended ceilings. The dining room has Armstrong-type suspended ceilings. The floors in the basement and the dining room and passage are made of concrete on the ground: uncoated in the basement and self-leveling concrete mosaic and covered with tiles on the first floor. The floors on the floors are parquet and plank, with or without additional layers of laminate or linoleum. The window openings are filled mainly using plastic double-glazed windows.
