Architectural and space-planning solutions

 The construction of an open elevated pedestrian crossing at the intersection of streets is planned. The general space-planning scheme of the elevated pedestrian crossing is adopted with a closed scheme. In plan, the elevated pedestrian crossing has the shape of a circle with four stairways. The radius of the circle along the outer contour is 23,85 m. The possibility of lifting to the level of the transition for the disabled in a wheelchair is provided by four vertical lifts for the disabled, installed in the mines. For a relative mark of 0,000, the mark of the sidewalk in front of the stairs was taken. The minimum height from the carriageway to the bottom of the pedestrian crossing structure is 5,0 m. flight of stairs 0,000 m equipped with handrails at a height of 6,240 m and 3,0 m on both sides. The stairs are equipped with steps 1,5X0,720 mm and a railing 0,7 m high with handrails at a height of 0,9 m and 120 m on both sides, and the installation of ramps is also provided. The width of the passage at elevation +400 is projected to be at least 1,20 m. Before exits to the passage level at elevation +0,7 from the shafts of vertical lifts for the disabled, platforms are provided. The passage at elevation +0,9 is equipped with a fence 6,240 m high, along the outer contour of the transition the fence is equipped with handrails at a height of 3,00 m with an additional mesh with cells 6,240x6,240 mm, along the inner contour of the transition it is designed with a fence along the top of the structures (height 1,20 m ) up to a height of 0 m. Covering the passage at elevation +9, platforms and stairs - fine-grained asphalt concrete with anti-icing additives, with electric heating of the stairs and the passage. In the space under the stairs at the level of 50, an electrical panel room (along axis 50) and a room for cleaning equipment (along axis 1,0) with separate external entrances are designed.

Constructive decisions

The projected pedestrian crossing at the intersection of streets is located in a built-up area, in the city center. A sidewalk and a metal shop pavilion adjoin the construction site from the south, an 11-storey building from the north, and an avenue from the west. On the basis of a comparison of options for development, the design of an open pedestrian crossing with a walkway located on the span structure of an annular shape in plan with an inner radius of 19,3 m, an outer radius of 23,85 m was adopted. area of ​​land allotment for the crossing. To meet the needs of people with limited mobility, the project provides for the installation of four lifting devices in glazed shafts. The platforms provide for pedestrians to rise to a height of up to 7 meters. The minimum passage width in accordance with the calculated intensity is 3.0 m; architectural solutions. The vertical clearance above the roadway is assumed to be 3,0 m. The following types of supports are provided for at the pedestrian crossing: reinforced concrete post supports of variable cross section for the ring span, with foundations on bored piles with a diameter of 4,0 m; supports for stairways - with round posts with a diameter of 5,0 m on bored piles with a diameter of 0,8 m; massive support-walls under the end sections of the staircases with foundations on a natural basis. The basis for bored piles are light silty loams with a conditional resistance of 0,8 kPa. The support body material is concrete of B30 compressive strength class, F200 frost resistance grade and W8 water resistance grade. The span structure of the pedestrian bridge, circular in plan, is made of metal, continuous, according to an individual project and has the following static scheme: 37,064 + 28,623 + 31,416 + 28,560 m (dimensions along the axes of the supporting parts). The length of the span along the middle line in plan is 135 m. The radius of the superstructure along the support axes is 20,0 m. The main beam of the superstructure is box-shaped with vertical walls. The vertical height of the walls of the main beam is 1800 mm, the width of the lower and upper chords is 1400 mm. The wall thickness of the main beam is 12 mm, the thickness of the lower chord is variable - in the support zones - 32 mm, in the span - 20 mm, the thickness of the upper chord - 20 mm. Consoles are attached to the outer side of the main beam, on which an orthotropic slab of the walkway is placed. The spacing of the consoles of the orthotropic plate is 3 m, the spacing of the stringers is 0.35 m. The section of the console wall is variable from 0.77 m to 0.24 m. Longitudinal and transverse stiffeners are welded onto the inner surfaces of the walls and chords of the main beam. In the support sections inside the boxes of the main beams, solid-walled diaphragms reinforced with stiffeners are attached along the support axes. Mounting joints of the main beam of superstructures are welded. Mounting joints of the orthotropic plate are combined - the wall and the lower chord of the console - on high-strength bolts, the decking sheet of the orthotropic plate - by welding. The span material is low-alloy steel for bridge construction grades 15KhSND and 15KhSND-2, temporary connections and gaskets - St3 steel. Protection of metal structures against corrosion is carried out by the Steelpaint coating system. The bridge deck on the walkway consists of a Technoelastmost-C waterproofing layer, on top of which an 8 cm thick thermal insulation layer is laid and an electric heating cable for the superstructure is laid. A layer of cast asphalt concrete 4-9 cm thick is laid on top of the concrete layer. The railing of the walkway is made of stainless steel 1.2 m high. Water is drained from the trough formed by the transverse slope into drainage pipes with an internal diameter of 100 mm (pipe installation step is 3 m), followed by discharge into a longitudinal drainage tray. The stairways of the pedestrian bridge are designed from monolithic reinforced concrete, continuous according to an individual project, the static scheme is 6,6 + 15,0 m. Electric heating is also arranged on the surface of the stairs steps. The material of the staircases is structural heavy concrete of strength class B30, grades F300, W12 according to GOST 26633-91.

 Improvement

 The design documentation provides for the construction of an elevated pedestrian crossing at the intersection of streets. At present, at the intersection of streets under consideration, a pedestrian crossing is organized at the same level with traffic lights. In connection with the placement of the crossing structures, it is planned to transfer the public transport stop located on the left (even) side of the street to street 2 towards streets 3 and the side of street 4 opposite from the intersection. 50,0 m (from the rounding of the side stone of the intersection) to an additional lane 3,5 m wide, where a portable public transport stop is provided. The existing widening of the carriageway of the street at the place of the relocated stop is subject to lengthening by 20,0 m (straight section) and 20,0 m (retreat). On the approaches to the designed pedestrian crossing, the public transport stop landing area on the left (even) side of the streets on the same side of the intersection, sidewalks with asphalt concrete pavement with a total area of ​​844 m2 are provided. On the opposite side of the intersection - on the right side of the street, sidewalks and landing areas with tiled paving on an area of ​​1045 m2 are provided. To separate sidewalks and landing areas from the carriageways, the installation of side stones 1ГП is provided.
