Main design decisions

The newly arranged canal is carried out in an earthen bed with fastening of the bottom and slopes with geosynthetic materials - a geogrid filled with crushed stone and a non-woven needle-punched fabric. In cross section, the finished channel is a trapezoid. The coefficient of laying slopes in loamy soils is taken equal to 1,75. The route of the new stream bed, running parallel to the northern border of the site allocated for the construction of an industrial facility, crosses the future route, turns south (along the route from picket 0 to picket 9 + 50) and again flows into the old channel. The condition of observance of the distance from the outer edge of the cuvette is set tracks at least 5 m to the edge of the new stream bed (in the area of ​​PK5 + 00 - PK6 + 30 and PK7 + 50 - PK9 + 00). Appropriate adjustment of the project was made, and the corrected version was approved. To ensure the construction of the future route on the stream from picket 10 + 60 to picket 11 + 20, it is planned to install a temporary metal corrugated pipe-crossing with a diameter of 1,5 m and a length of 60 m. The new channel is being laid by excavators in a pioneering way without temporary dumps, with the transport of soil to the landfill by licensed organizations. The construction will be carried out from the mouth of the new channel, moving upstream, thus ensuring the discharge of ground and surface water into the existing stream bed downstream. Prior to the commencement of excavation works, a summary of the forest is carried out along the new route on an area of ​​4,8 hectares. After connecting the channel at the source to the existing channel, the old stream channel will be blocked by an earthen dam, and the water will be redirected to the new channel in such a way that during construction, water will flow along the existing stream channel until the new channel is finally ready, and only after that the water flow will be redirected .
