Architectural and space-planning solutions

The construction of an elevated pedestrian crossing over the street is planned. The general space-planning scheme of the elevated pedestrian crossing is assumed to be mirror-symmetrical with respect to the axis of the street and includes: the central span structure (span of about 65 m) in the form of an arc-shaped spatial truss of rectangular cross section and a parabolic arch (span of 86 m, height - about 32,5 m ) with cable-stayed suspensions of the central cells of an arcuate spatial truss, as well as two above-ground pavilions symmetrical in plan, including ramps and stairways. The volumes of the pavilions are located in close proximity to the roadway. The sidewalk in the pavilion area is separated from the carriageway by a fence. The maximum height of the pavilion volumes from the planning level of the ground to the top of the parapet is 12.05 m. A ramp is designed in each pavilion for lifting pedestrians, including the disabled, from the mark 0,000 to the mark +5,750. A ramp with a slope of 1:12 was designed, the height of each ramp march is 0,750 m, the width of the ramps is 3,50 m (between the extreme handrails), the depth of the platforms is at least 1,5 m, the ramps are equipped with handrails at a height of 0 m and 7 m on both sides. On the ramps, there is a strip 0 m wide, equipped with an additional dividing railing with handrails, designed both for the movement of disabled people in a wheelchair and ordinary pedestrians. The elevated pedestrian tunnel is designed with ramps from elevation +9 to elevation +0,95. The volume of the pedestrian tunnel has a rectangular cross section, the width between the inner faces of the lower belts of spatial trusses is 5,750 m. Within the boundaries of the pedestrian tunnel with ramps, a strip 8,000 m wide is also allocated, equipped with an additional dividing railing with handrails. The height from the top of the tramway tracks to the bottom of the pedestrian tunnel structure is at least 3,5 m and the minimum height from the carriageway of the street to the bottom of the span structures is at least 0,95 m. The surface of the platforms and ramps is fine-grained asphalt concrete with anti-icing additives. In addition to ramps, shafts are designed in each pavilion for the possible installation of lifts for the disabled in the future. The need to install these shafts is confirmed by a letter from the customer. In order to ensure dispersed movement of pedestrians, taking into account the expected high density of pedestrian traffic, additional equipment of the crossing with stairways in the form of internal stairs from the mark 0,000 to the mark +5,750 is provided. The maximum climbing height along one flight of stairs is 1,50 m. The covering of flights and intermediate platforms of stairs is weather-resistant perchlorovinyl composition LAKISTA (or equivalent). Over the entrances to the pavilions, spatial metal trusses were designed for the installation of illuminated information signs for the transition, the top of the trusses is at +14.350. In each pavilion, in the space under the ramps at the 0,000 mark, a room for electrical panel and cleaning equipment (for dry cleaning) and a pantry for consumables with separate external entrances are designed. The coverings above the pavilions and above the pedestrian tunnel are flat with an organized internal drain with electrically heated funnels and pipes. A metal roof railing is provided. Facade stained-glass windows - made of aluminum profiles filled with sheets of colorless cast polycarbonate b = 6-8 mm with 2-sided UV protection.

Constructive decisions

The design documentation provides for the construction of an elevated pedestrian crossing (NPP) in front of the bridge over the river. The space-planning scheme of the NPP as a whole is an inclined parabolic arch of spatial trusses of rectangular cross section and includes the following main three-dimensional elements: 2 symmetrical rectangular ground pavilions in plan, consisting of inclined spatial trusses of rectangular cross section with a span of up to 40 m, inside which there are pedestrian 1- tiered galleries (ramps and platforms); 2 symmetrical towers with stairways located between spatial trusses; inclined curvilinear spatial truss with a span of 72,3 m above the carriageway; a vertical parabolic arch (span 86,0 m, height 32,5 m, cross section 0,9x1,5 m) with cable-stayed suspensions of the spatial truss of the pedestrian gallery; ground pylons in the places of support of spatial trusses (at the ends of spans). The span structure is designed as a metal, single-span structure. The length of the span along the passage axis is 72,3 m. 3.85 m. Diagonal lattice - triangular, panel length 3 m. Passage dimension 3 m. upper belt 1400 mm, width 400 mm. The walkway is arranged on a metal orthotropic plate, which is included in joint work with the lower chords of the superstructure. Truss braces - box section with perforation. The central part of the superstructure is supported by a cable-stayed system, which is attached to a metal box-section arch, the arch lifting boom is 32,5 m, the span of the arch is 86,0 m. The box section of the arch is variable, from 2.3 x 1.8 m to 1.8 x 1.8 m. Mounting joints of the superstructure and arches are bolt-welded on high-strength M22 bolts. The span material is low-alloy steel for bridge construction grades 15KhSND and 15KhSND-2. The bridge deck on the walkway of the span consists of a single layer of poured asphalt 30 mm thick, which is laid directly on the Technoelastmost-S waterproofing along the upper plane of the orthotropic slab decking sheet. The railing of the walkway is metal with a height of 1.1 m. The expansion joints on the superstructure are with a rubber compensator, the supporting parts are spherical. Covering of the superstructure - with polycarbonate glazing 8 mm thick. The roof of the superstructure, stairways and ramps is made of metal with membrane waterproofing and reinforced concrete parapets to keep the snow cover. Anti-corrosion protection of the superstructure, stairways and ramps is carried out by a system with a polyurethane coating. Drainage is carried out through drainage tubes, inside the span along longitudinal sealed trays, followed by discharge at the footbridge supports. The railing is provided with two-level stainless steel handrails. Stair descents and ramps are also made in the form of spatial trusses with a width along the axes of the belts of 3.9 m, a height of 3.85 m. The dimension of the passable part of stair descents and ramps is 3 m. In the ramp-stair complexes, it is possible to build, if necessary, a lifting device for people with limited mobility (a platform with a carrying capacity of 300 kg). The lifting height of the platform is 5.75 m. The foot of the arch rests on a pile grillage of bored piles with a diameter of 1,0 m. At the base of the ladder-ramp unit, a monolithic grillage slab is arranged on a pile field of bored piles with a diameter of 426 mm.
