Architectural and space-planning solutions

The presented design documentation was developed for the construction of an unheated closed pedestrian crossing (gallery) above the railway tracks and the passenger platform of the station. (project documentation was developed taking into account the prospective scheme for expanding the track facilities, developed and agreed upon). The construction of the gallery consists of a pedestrian covered bridge (at elevation +8.220), based on three stair-lift units. The stair-lift units consist of stair and ramp exits (elev. 0.000...+8.220) and a public elevator for vertical movement of the disabled. The width of the passage along the gallery, stairs, flights and the width of the corridors of the eastern and western staircase and elevator nodes in the clear: 3,0 m. The width of the flights of stairs and corridors of the central staircase and elevator node is 2,25 m (due to the need to provide standard approaching the extreme axes of the newly designed railway tracks). The design documentation decided to use transparent ("CLARISSIMO") impact-resistant glass elements and install in profile according to the technology approved by the authorized supplier. Finishing of blind facade sections is provided from profiled metal cassettes, hemming of the lower chords of load-bearing metal structures - ALCOTEKR aluminum panels, entrance portals - A-BondR. Facade glazing of elevator shafts - a single-chamber double-glazed window with impact-resistant glass. Facade surfaces of retaining walls, as well as separate sections of the flooring of the structure - facing with natural stone when covering the main surface of the floors with asphalt concrete. To ensure safety and prevent direct access of pedestrians to the facade structures, it is planned to install protective anti-vandal screens made of high-strength steel mesh between the handrails and the glazing. All the main load-bearing metal structures of the descents of the stair-lift units and galleries are designed as long-span lattice steel trusses with a diagonal diagonal lattice. The supporting structures of the structure are monolithic reinforced concrete pylons with a formwork texture with built-in elevator shafts for general access. The roofing is covered with a built-up membrane over the supporting structure of the coating. To provide access to the crossing cover, the project provides for the installation of two roof hatches (in the area where the gallery adjoins the western and eastern elevator nodes). In the presented project documentation, stair-elevator units have been developed, taking into account the movement of all low-mobility groups of the population through the transition, and they represent a convenient and reliably protected pedestrian structure from atmospheric and man-made external influences.

Constructive decisions

The crossover site is located in the PK 66+40 area of the Ruchi station. The site was chosen by a commission with the participation of representatives of the Customer and the services of the Oktyabrskaya Railway. The design solutions for the adopted option provide for the construction of a two-span covered pedestrian crossing with two extreme transverse staircases leading to the ground level marks and passenger platforms and one intermediate one for access to the passenger platform. Staircases are covered. The width of the walkway of the pedestrian bridge and stairways is assumed to be 3,0 m. The design of the pedestrian crossing involves the construction of three main bearing supports to support the trusses of the span and ladder descents, three supports to support the landings of stair descents at their turns and three foundations of stair descents at their interface with platforms and the ground surface. The main supports of the transition are made of monolithic reinforced concrete, with pile foundations. The support bodies are L-shaped with a curvilinear crossbar, which provides support for two span structures, a stairway, and placement of a platform for the MGN exit from the lift shaft. The auxiliary part of the support, combined with the main structure by means of reinforcing outlets, is intended for use as a shaft for a lifting platform. Pile foundation - from five bored piles with a diameter of 1,2 m. The body of the ladder descent supports consists of L-shaped posts with a reinforced concrete cantilever to accommodate the landing of the stair descents. The body of the supports is made of concrete of class B30, frost resistance grade F200 and W8 for water resistance. Reinforcing cages - with class AIII working reinforcement. The pile foundation is made of four bored piles with a diameter of 1,2 m. The material of the bored piles is concrete of class B25, grade W6 in terms of water resistance. Reinforcing cages with class AIII working reinforcement. Grill slabs are made of monolithic reinforced concrete class B25, frost resistance grade F200 and W8 water resistance. The design of the stair descents was developed based on the conditions for ensuring the width of the walkway of 3,0 m. The spans of the stair descents are spatial metal trusses. The staircases themselves are made of monolithic reinforced concrete supported by metal structures of load-bearing trusses. Descents are designed two-march. Stair flights are equipped with stainless steel metal railings. The metal superstructures of the pedestrian crossing, 61,33 m and 15,92 m long, have design spans of 60,73 m and 15,32 m, respectively. Both spans have a curvilinear outline in plan. The span structures are three-dimensional trusses with a triangular lattice. The walkway of the span structures is made in the form of an orthotropic plate. The height of the lower chord and the orthotropic plate is 420 mm in total. Mounting joints of the elements are combined: the joints of the chords of the main beams are welded; joints of other elements - on high-strength M22 bolts. The bridge deck of the walkway consists of a single layer of poured asphalt, which is laid over a Technoelastmost waterproofing layer glued onto the upper surface of the decking sheet of an orthotropic slab. The truss floor slab is provided from sheet steel with stiffeners. Water is drained from the floor into drainage trays located along the pedestrian crossing, water is discharged from the trays at the supports through drainage devices. The railing of the walkway is made of stainless steel, 1,1 m high, with a backup handrail for MGN at a height of 0,8 m from the transition cover. The span material is low-alloy steel for bridge construction grades 15KhSND and 15KhSND-2. The translucent structures of the span structures and stairways are supposed to be made of glass profiles. Finishing of blind facades is carried out from profiled metal cassettes (aluminum and nickel-plated). The NPP provides for the installation of three lifting platforms with access to them for all categories of citizens. The possibility of remote scheduling of lifts is provided. The complex is equipped with functional and architectural lighting systems. Protection of metal structures of spans from corrosion is provided by modern paint coatings in accordance with STO -01393674-007-2011 "Protection of metal structures of bridges from corrosion by painting" and other applicable regulatory documents. The main system for the protection of metal structures is a system based on the materials of the NPP "Highly dispersed metal powders".
