General information.

The purpose of the facility being designed is a shelter for animals. The shelter for mixed keeping of animals is located on a separate land plot with an area of ​​0,6 hectares. The shelter is designed to house 100 dogs (80 of them in open enclosures on the street) and 40 cats. The building of the shelter also provides accommodation for overexposure of 19 commercial animals - 6 dogs and 13 cats. On the territory of the shelter there is a dog walking area with a disinfection barrier. To ensure a favorable sanitary and epidemiological situation, all newly arrived animals enter the shelter only through the arena with a quarantine room, and then to the isolation ward (separately for dogs and cats). Furnishing of premises for keeping animals is made taking into account the possibility of daily wet cleaning of premises. In accordance with the design assignment and the number of animals, the project provides for the following number of staff: director; accountant (incoming); veterinarian; administrator (caretaker); attendants - 7 people (for the maximum number of animals); watchman - 2 people (in shifts); area cleaner. The shelter building is provided with engineering equipment: electricity and lighting, water supply (individual well and drinking water supply), sewerage to a specially equipped cesspool, heating (from an individual automatic modular boiler plant "Thermo-Robot"), a forced supply and exhaust ventilation system, as well as or fire and security alarms. - a room for keeping commercial dogs for 6 places - 19,17 m2;
- a room for keeping commercial cats for 13 places - 18,44 m2;

- isolator for dogs - 15,34 m2;
- quarantine room - 12,27 m2; a room for short-term storage of euthanized animals with a refrigerator - 10,17 m2;
- litter warehouse - 9,63 m2;
- washing - disinfection - 9,17 m2;
- a storage room for medicines and disinfectants - 9,61 m2;
- veterinarian's office - 12,96 m2;
- feed kitchen - 12,31 m2;
- feed warehouse - 13,10 m2;
- room for cleaning equipment - 2,76 m2.
