General information.
One of the main design goals is to create a shelter with the most comfortable conditions, providing veterinary care and an area where everyone can contact with the inhabitants of the shelter. The organization of a modern shelter with a specialized veterinary clinic for the examination and treatment of animals, and, if necessary, surgical operations, will reduce the number of animals on the streets and ensure control over their population. The projected building is located within the allotted area of 0,6972 hectares, which is located in the industrial zone of the city. The northern side of the site borders on the territory of the semi-automatic plant, the southern side - on the territory of the ATP, the western - on the territory of the printing house, the eastern - on the territory of the wholesale and retail base. The designed building is divided by an anti-seismic joint into two blocks: block No. 1 to accommodate the premises of the catering unit and heat generator (1st stage of construction), as well as block No. 2 to accommodate the premises of a veterinary clinic (2nd stage of construction). The designed shelter is intended for keeping homeless animals, in particular dogs and cats, and their social adaptation for the purpose of further sterilization and finding an owner. The total number of animals kept: dogs in open enclosures - 148 individuals, dogs in the veterinary clinic - 30 individuals, puppies - 20 cats - 70 individuals. The content of cats in the 1st stage of construction is not provided. For this, a room was designed in the building of the veterinary clinic (block No. 2) in the 2nd stage of construction. The project provides for a separate operation of the household block (block No. 1) without the implementation of the 2nd stage of construction - a veterinary clinic to serve the shelter (block No. 2). The construction site is located in the IIIB climatic region (according to scheme A1 of SP 131.13330.2012 "Construction climatology". Updated version of SNiP 23-01-99 * (with Amendment No. 2)).
