Information about the functional purpose of the capital construction object

The snow collection point is located in a non-residential area, designed to receive and dispose of snow masses in the winter season by a specialized operating organization. The operation of the snow collection point is based on the method of storing snow, followed by its natural melting and discharge of melt water into sewer networks. Snow collected from city streets is delivered by road to the site of the snow collection point, where it is unloaded and stored. The base of the platform has a waterproof coating. The site is surrounded by embankment. Dump trucks enter the territory of the site through the gate, then, at the entrance, past the production and amenity block with a checkpoint, they enter the site. A rack for an automated vehicle accounting system is installed next to the gate. During the work of the snow collection point in winter, the gates at the entrance are open around the clock. During the summer period they are closed. The snow coming for disposal at the snow collection site is significantly polluted with debris, a large amount of sand applied to the roads accumulates in the snow. After the end of the winter period, it is necessary to carry out activities to clean up the site from debris and remove waste to the landfill. After clearing of debris, the site should be "mothballed". The possibility of using the site in the summer for other purposes (for example, for parking cars or trucks) must be decided by the Customer together with the operating organizations. Snow storage at the snow collection point is carried out using front-end loaders by forming a snow dump with a maximum height of 4 m. The work area is divided into two parts - the unloading area and the planning area. In the unloading zone, snow mass is unloaded from dump trucks, a mechanical vehicle (hereinafter referred to as MTS) operates in the planning zone, moving the unloaded snow to the free part of the storage zone, bringing the dump height to 4 m. Filling the site with snow begins from the side of the site farthest from the entrance, with a gradual approach to the entrance as the capacity of the site is filled. The slope in the MTS work area when moving snow is 1:1,5. It is assumed that the snow will melt naturally, after cleaning in local treatment facilities, the water will be discharged into the city sewer network.

The device of a snow collection point that allows you to store and dispose of snow is of great importance for drivers. A large amount of snow on the roads can cause traffic jams, this is especially dangerous for ambulances. If the snow is not removed in time, it may melt and then freeze again, which may cause a traffic accident. The design capacity of a snow collection point is the maximum amount of snow that can be stored on site. Given that the density of snow in a compacted state in the body of the dump is 0,8 t/m0,35, the density of the imported snow is 14158 t/m3, and the geometric capacity of the dump is 32361 m3, then the volume of stored snow XNUMX mXNUMX can be placed in the dump body. A checkpoint is installed at the snow receiving site, intended for service personnel, calculated according to the standards for 3 staff units per shift: rate-setter-security guard - 1 person; tractor driver - 1 person; master - 1 person
