Brief description of architectural and design solutions.

The specialized basketball complex is designed as part of the following main functional areas:
A. Zone of playing and training basketball halls: the main hall with stands for 7000 spectators; training hall for 2 sites 18 x 36 m each; team locker rooms 8 pcs. (for 20 people each) at the main hall and at the training halls; locker rooms for coaches 4 pcs. (for 5-6 people each); judges' dressing rooms 3 pcs. (with shower and toilet) 18 - 20 sq.m.; team meeting room (press center); medical unit - doctor's office, massage room; physiotherapy, doping control. 

B. Spectator area of ​​the main hall: entrance hall with cash desks and information, wardrobe, toilets, security room; a foyer with buffets, a zone for the museum of the basketball club and an area for the sale of souvenirs and sports paraphernalia; VIP-lounge area with a restaurant for 40 seats (with the possibility of access by visitors bypassing the foyer).

B. Hotel zone for athletes for 50 places with the necessary auxiliary and utility rooms.

D. Rehabilitation center area: swimming pool with bathtub 20 x 9 m, depth from 1,5 to 2,5 m; block of saunas; hydromassage, jacuzzi (separate bath in the common room with a swimming pool); gym and aerobics room;

D. Zone of auxiliary and utility rooms: inventory pantry; room for loading storage of advertising structures; laundry for sportswear; premises of the engineering services of the complex, workshops, premises for duty personnel; 

E. Service area: entrance vestibule (service entrance); administration premises of the complex; canteen for athletes and staff.

G. Technical premises for the placement of engineering systems and equipment, communication input nodes, etc.

The main lobby for spectators is located on the ground floor at el. -4,200 in axes A-P, 15-16. There is also a wardrobe for spectators' outerwear, as well as bathrooms, incl. for MGN. The entrance to the lobby is from the north side of the building from the planning ground level. With the help of two staircases, the vestibule communicates with the spectator foyer, from which spectators have access to the stands of the main auditorium. The auditorium is a universal sports ground for team sports, surrounded by stands in the form of an amphitheater with a capacity of 7000 spectators. Additional (evacuation) exits from the spectator foyer are provided through two open porches-terraces with stairs, which are located on the eastern and western parts of the building along the A/1 and I/1 axes, respectively. In the basement at elev. – 4,500 (in the space under the stands) there is a complex of locker rooms for athletes with a separate entrance, press rooms and a meeting room, auxiliary and storage rooms, as well as a canteen for athletes and staff with a complex of production facilities, which are connected to the VIP area using a service elevator, located at elev. +4,500. In axes 1-9 there is a training hall with two areas 18x36 m each, a pool complex, as well as a hotel for athletes with a separate entrance (see below). The main spectator foyer is located at el. 0,000 around the bowl of the spectator stands of the main hall in axes 9-16. At elev. +7,500 in the area of ​​the spectator stands in axes 11-14 there is a VIP zone, including seven boxes, a restaurant hall, ancillary facilities and bathrooms. Above the lodges at elev. +12,000, operator rooms are provided for controlling the lighting and acoustic equipment of the auditorium. In axes 7-9 / A-E at el. +4,500 administrative premises of the sports complex are located. The ventilation chambers are located in axes 6/1-9/E-Zh at el. +4,500 and in the volume of the technical floor in axes 7-9/А-Е at el. +9,000 m. The hotel for athletes provided for by the design task is allocated in a separate block located in axes 1-9/A-D. The hotel has a separate entrance from the southern facade of the building and two independent staircases in axes 1-1/1 and 8-9. Rooms and auxiliary rooms of the hotel are located on three floors. The lower floor of the hotel is located at el. – 3,900 i.e. above the planning mark of the land around the building. The subsequent floors of the hotel are located at el. 0,000 and +4,500. On the two lower floors there are 11 guest rooms, on the top - 5 suites. The vertical communications of the building are five staircases (staircases of the 1st type according to the Technical Regulations on fire safety requirements), three blocks of elevators, internal open staircases in the lobby, external terrace porches with stairs. The building of the sports complex is equipped with three elevators with a cabin depth of at least 2100 mm (in accordance with clause 4.17 of SNiP 31-05-2003).

The project adopted the following design solutions:

The building is divided into two compartments separated by a temperature-expansion joint (passes between axes 9 and /1). Foundations - bored monolithic reinforced concrete piles made using the ATLAS technology and monolithic reinforced concrete grillages. The frame of the building - columns and ceilings are monolithic reinforced concrete. The space of the main arena (axes (A-P) - (9/1-16) is covered with metal trusses with a span of 72 m, secondary trusses and girders are mounted to ensure spatial rigidity. In the axes (I-P) - (1-7) the space of the gym it is covered with metal trusses with a span of 36 m and transverse trusses with a span of 2 x 18,0 m. 60 δ= 30 mm, Paroc ROB 30 δ= 80, LOGICROOF PVC waterproofing membrane The rest of the building is covered with a monolithic reinforced concrete coating with a similar roof. The main materials used in facade cladding are cassettes made of composite material (Alucobond type), as well as stained glass fillings based on double-glazed windows with a high sun protection index. Perforated metal panels are hung on the stained-glass facades, which perform an additional sun-protective and decorative function. The basement part of the walls is a ventilated facade with porcelain stoneware cladding on a metal frame or natural granite stones. The color of facade materials is in accordance with the general color scheme of the basketball complex, which is presented on the illustrative materials for the project. For window fillings in the building, single-chamber double-glazed windows are used. Window fillings have aluminum profile trims with thermal breaks. Manual blinds are installed on the inside of the windows. Internal walls and partitions are made of aerated concrete blocks 60 mm thick, as well as plasterboard sheets, followed by puttying and painting.
