Architectural solutions

The purpose of the pier is to provide communication between settlements located on islands in the river delta. In accordance with the terms of reference for the design, the operating conditions of the berth are the possibility of a safe approach, parking and carrying out passenger operations for river passenger vessels of the Moskva type of project No. R-51E and a sea tug of project No. 4983. The design of the berth is designed according to the type of anchored bolter made of metal sheet pile with reinforced concrete superstructure. The length of the berthing line is 43,5 m, the total length of the berth along the front is 47,7 m. The mark of the berth cordon is +2,30 m in the Baltic system of heights. In terms of the design of the berth, it is designed in the form of a frontal embankment with a mooring cordon line parallel to the river bank. In the upper part, the end wall of the berth is located at an angle of 45° to the cordon line to absorb loads during spring ice drift and the direction of water flow during floods. In the lower part of the berth, the end wall is located at an angle of 90° to the cordon line. In the middle part of the berth in the superstructure, a platform with a mark of +1,25 m in the Baltic system of heights was designed for embarkation and disembarkation of passengers at low water levels. There are stairs and a ramp to the site. At high water levels in the river, boarding and disembarking of passengers is carried out along the ladders directly to the cordon of the berth in specially provided places. At the berth, the installation of four frontal mooring bollards of the TCO-16 type in accordance with GOST 17424-72 is designed. Two bollards are located at the corners of the berth, two - in the center. The berth is equipped with fenders in the form of rubber cylinders with a diameter of 400 mm. A 1,1 m high railing on the berth is installed along the cordon and at the landing area. Railing - welded metal, rack type with openwork filling. In the middle part of the berth in the railing, there are two passages about 1,7 m wide for passing passengers. Passages are closed with removable chains. Along the head of the berth, the project provides for the construction of a pedestrian sidewalk, raised by 150 mm from the surface of the berth cover. To restrict the entry of vehicles to the sidewalk along the sidewalk, metal barrier fences 450 mm high are additionally installed. The total height of the fence from the level of the carriageway is 0,6 m. The main covering of the berth is made of prefabricated reinforced concrete slabs 0,16 m thick. Coverings of pedestrian zones and waiting areas are made of figured paving slabs. For passengers on the pier there is a waiting area with a pavilion. The metal pavilion is similar in design to waiting pavilions at public transport stops. The project does not provide for the construction of special premises for the main, auxiliary and technical purposes. Artificial lighting is arranged on the berth to enable the safe operation of the facility in the dark. The junctions of the quay wall with the shore from the upstream and downstream sides of the berth are reinforced with rock fill in sections of 10 m each. The reinforced concrete superstructure (head) of the berth from the water area is 2,10 m high with a vertical front surface. The bottom of the concrete head reaches the average water level of the river during navigation, which hides the sheet piles and numerous structural elements in the concrete structure. Metal embedded parts of the reinforced concrete head, eyes and ladder are painted in gray - to match the concrete surface. The color of railings and mooring bollards is black. The color of the metal sheet pile of the pier base mainly performs the functions of anti-corrosion protection, therefore the preferred color is red (RAL 3000-3003, 3013 or similar), chosen to match the color of steel corrosion products.

 Constructive decisions

The level of responsibility of the building - II. Class of hydraulic structure - III. Average daily passenger turnover - 100 people/day. The design of the berth is designed as an anchored bolter made of metal sheet piles with a reinforced concrete superstructure. The project was developed on the basis of design materials according to the 3.504.2-25 series. The level of the cordon of the berth is +2,300 m in the Baltic system of heights of 1946. The front and anchor walls of the bolter are made of a metal sheet pile of the L-5UM type from steel of strength class 235 according to TU 14-102-8-2003. The sheet piling of the front wall is immersed to an absolute mark of minus 21,0 m. The sheet piling of the front wall of the openings is immersed to the marks of minus 21,0 m, minus 12,2 m, minus 10,2 m, that is, stepwise, depending on the height of the wall. Anchor rod designs are designed according to series 3.504.1-23 issue 3. The pitch of anchor rods is assumed to be 2,0 m, which corresponds to the width of four sheet piles. Ordinary anchor rods are designed from round steel with a diameter of 75 mm, pedestal anchor rods - with a diameter of 80 mm. Anchor rods are attached to the sheet pile wall through a distribution belt of twin channels No. 27P. The studs for fastening the distribution belt are designed from round rolled products with a diameter of 56 mm. The anchor wall holding the front wall is made of sheet pile 7,30 m long. The sections of the anchor walls that take additional loads from the pedestal anchors are made of sheet pile 7,70 m long. The anchor walls of the end flaps are made of a sheet pile 4,70 m long. To reduce the hydrostatic pressure at a mark of minus 1,0 m, holes are made in the sheet piles of the front wall with a step of 5,0 m and siphons are installed. A drainage prism is also arranged from stone with dimensions of 150-200 mm, crushed stone of a fraction of 5-20 mm and 4070 mm using geotextiles of 400 g / m2. Bolverka is backfilled with draining sandy soil with an internal friction angle of at least 30° and a filtration rate of at least 3 m/day. The upper superstructure is made in the form of a reinforced concrete head made of VZO, W6, F30 class concrete. The reinforced concrete superstructure is divided by expansion joints into three sections. As expansion joints, a sticker of two layers of welded waterproofing material "Technoelastmost", "Mostoplast" or similar materials was used. When concreting sections of the superstructure, embedded frames are installed in bollard arrays for mooring bollards, embedded products for fenders, bollard anchor rods and railings. Installation of a ladder is provided. In the middle part of the berth in the superstructure, a platform with a mark of +1,25 m in the Baltic height system of 1946 was designed. for boarding (disembarking) passengers at low water levels. There are stairs and a ramp to the site. The design of the stairway is designed according to the series 1.050.9-4.93, reinforced concrete steps of the stairs according to GOST 8717.1-84. At high water levels in the river, boarding (disembarking) of passengers is carried out by ladders directly to the cordon of the berth in specially provided places. The berth provides for the installation of four front mooring bollards of the TSO-16 type in accordance with GOST 17424-72. Two bollards are located at the corners of the berth, two - in the center. The berth is equipped with fenders in the form of rubber cylinders with a diameter of 400 mm. The design of fenders is designed according to the series 7.504.9-1. Since during navigation on the river the water levels can fluctuate significantly (from -0,99 to 1,78 m BS), the main fenders are of an inclined type. Horizontal fenders are additionally installed at the passenger platform. With the maximum deformation of the fenders, a margin of at least 200 mm remains between the superstructure of the berth and the side of the vessel. All embedded eyelets are installed in the head of the berth flush with the front surface of the concrete. A 1,1 m high railing on the berth is installed along the cordon and at the landing area. Railing - welded metal, rack type with openwork filling. Along the quay line, railings are installed on separate foundation blocks. Along the heads of the openings of the berth, the railing posts are installed on the embedded parts in the sections of the head. Anticorrosion protection of metal structures is made with Jotamastic 87 materials in one layer with a dry film thickness of 200 microns. Metal sheet piles, anchor rods, distribution belts and other metal structures of the berth are painted with Jotamastic 87 Red CC paint 300 mm thick.
