Overview
The nursing home for the elderly and disabled refers to a stationary institution of the system of social protection of the population and is a medical and social institution of a stationary type, belonging to general boarding schools. The task of the boarding school is to create favorable conditions for the elderly and senile, as well as people with disabilities and improve their medical care. The contingent of residents of the boarding school includes: free-moving, practically healthy; moving with difficulty; patients in need of medical care, constant care, outside assistance, moving in wheelchairs. These are people who have reached retirement age (men aged 60 and over, women aged 55 and over) and disabled people of groups I and II. Based on the terms of reference, the boarding house was designed for 100 places for residents, including 75 places for freely moving people, 5 places for people with disabilities moving in wheelchairs and 20 places for elderly people with limited mobility.
