Highways are an important part of the entire transport system of the country. Without it, the functioning of not a single branch of the national economy is possible. Roads are divided into main and regional. They are designed for traffic with the following dimensions:

- vehicle width - 2,6 m;

- height from the road surface - 4,35 m.

The estimated speed is used to calculate the geometric elements of roads. It must be assigned based on the definition of the road category (I-a, I-b, II, III, IV, V) and depending on the terrain. The technical, economic and transport and operational characteristics of the facility should be addressed in conjunction with the requirements of environmental protection and the rational use of its natural resources. Road projects provide:

- the necessary adhesion of tires of road vehicles to the surface of the carriageway;
